I love reading what’s in my bag post although I haven’t done one myself yet. I decided that since I’m going on holiday on Saturday morning I’d do a what’s in my hand luggage post! I know if still got a few days to go but I like to try and be organised. I’ll be honest I’m never a light packer and always take more clothes and shoes than I could possibly need. And my hand luggage is always stuffed full; (More will probably end up in there by the time I’m ready to leave!)
The bag- I never really thought that I’d use the bag too much once I had written my post on fashion and fakes; which you can read here, but I’ve used it quite a few time especially when I was doing some work during the summer. It has lots of pockets in it making it great for carrying everything but means that I can put important things in one place e.g tickets, passport so I’m not searching though everything to find them.
Magazines – I’ve packed three of my favourite magazines, Elle, Glamour and Vogue for some reading at the airport/on the plane. They all seem to be fashion issues this month and are thicker than usual as they are all talking about the latest trends.
Mac Lipstick – I’m loving Plumful at the moment; it’s just such a perferct colour and it will definitley be in my handbag so that I can top it up on the way. I’m thing about getting another Mac lipstick on my way through the airport so if you have any recommendations let me know!
Purse – I picked this up in Portugal four years ago and I love it. I used it as my main purse for a while but it’s now turned into a holiday purse and always comes with me on holiday.
Kindle – I need something to read and my Kindle will always has books on it for me to read. I’m currently reading The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat by Oliver Sacks. I’m really enjoying this at the moment as a psychology student with a love of cognition and how the brain works it would have been hard for me not to. I find that the book is written in a way that makes it accessible to all; making it a great read for anyone who wants to read some fascinating tales about neurological disorders.
Passport – A must for going on the plane!
Sunglasses – I got these from New Look last year and they are most definitely my most used pair.
Ipod – I couldn’t survive the flight and the waiting about without my ipod. I really wouldn’t be able to cope without music on holiday, especially when at the beach.
My hand gel – I always like to have this with me wherever I go. I managed to find a nice lemon sherbet one in Primark.
My tablet – I can’t believe that I forgot to include it in the photo! I’ll be taking this on holiday so that I can catch up with some blogs and also try to reply to any comments and emails. I’m really hoping that this one stays okay, last year my tablet broke a day or two in for no reason at all.
My phone – This is never far from my side to be honest, so although I forgot to include it here in the picture I’m almost 100% certain that I won’t leave it at home.
So that is what will be in my hand luggage when I head off at the weekend! I’m really looking forward to going away as it seems to have taken ages to here. I hope you enjoyed reading my post, and I’d love to know what could you not live without when traveling?
