As much as I love summer and all of the bright shades of lipstick, I do like the winter when you can get away with a nice deep berry shade. Here are my top 5 lipsticks for Autumn and Winter;
Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Grape – I picked this up on whim, I can’t remember what the store was called but it was one of those discount places for about £2. It was completely sealed so I had no idea what colour it really was. It is a little darker than most of my lipstick and I find that it is a little harder to pull of than all the rest of them which is probably why I don’t wear it as often as I’d really like.
Barry M Ultra Moisturising Lip Paint in Black Cherry – This is a gorgeous shade dark berry shade which stays on for ages. I find that it is quite moisturising which is great for this time of year. If you want to know some more about the lipstick you can read it here.
Mac Lipstick in Plumful – I love this shade although I wore it quite a few times in the summer , I think it looks perfect for this time of year. You can read more of my thoughts on it here.
NYC Expert Last Lipstick in Traffic Jam – I had to add this one in! I know most people think of berry shades this time of year but I absolutely love this shade and it reminds me off all the leaves changing colour. Also everyone should own at least one red lipstick. You can read more of my thoughts on it here.
Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick in Fougueuse – I picked this up on my way to Spain and I love it, it is just so perfect. It’s such as pretty shade making it perfect for wearing during the day but I think that it would look amazing teamed with cateyes or a smokey eye look for the evening. I’ll be reviewing this one by itself next week 🙂
