Now I’ve been heading back to the gym I’ve been trying to make sure that I eat a little healthier too. The thing that I feel is sometimes the hardest is a healthy snack, especially if you want something with chocolate.
Energy balls seem to be everywhere at the moment and these ones are quick and easy to make (no cooking involved!) and will help to satisfy those chocolate cravings.
I love having these as a little afternoon snack with a coffee when I feel like I need something a little sweet.
Makes about 14
1 cup of oats
4 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons flaxseed/sesame seeds
5 tablespoons choc chips
2 tablespoons honey
- Place all the ingredients in a large bowl.
- Mix well and it should all start to stick together.
- Take a tablespoon out at a time and roll between palms to form a ball.
- Then store in the fridge in an airtight container until you want one.
I find that these last around week in the fridge (if they last that long!)
