I was really looking forward to receiving this month’s My Little Box which was called My Little Super box and it even arrived on my birthday! I found that upon opening it that I was a little disappointed in the contents of this one. If you don’t want any spoilers then stop reading now!
The usual little print that comes with the box appears to have been replaced by stickers this month, which I found a little odd as the pictures are one of the main thing that make the brand stand out from other companies. The stickers are quite nice and I’m sure I’ll find some use for them though I’m not too sure yet. You also get the My Little World magazine, which sadly I’ve not had a chance to read as I’ve been so busy with uni work at the moment now that the dissertation deadline is looming!
Next up is the lifestyle product, which was a T-shirt…a T-shirt in one size. Now I don’t know about you but I know that one size definitely doesn’t fit all, so I have a feeling that it’s not going to fit everyone well. For me it looks alright although it is a little baggy and a little longer than most of my other T-shirts, to me this is fine for sitting about the house and going round to the horses. If I was to wear it out somewhere then I’d probably have to wear something high waisted so that I could tuck in in to reduce the length and bagginess.
Next up the beauty products! I’m not sure about this month’s beauty products if I’m honest, I’m mean they’re okay but I wasn’t as excited to try these as I have been with previous products. So here is what the box contained;
*The top picture looks a little blurry, but if you click on the image it’s not – I got a new camera for my birthday so I’m still working some of it out*
- Caudalie Hand Cream – I’ve not tried this yet as I am currently still using my Soap and Glory Hand Food and didn’t really want to open this one as I know that if I have two open one will probably end up not getting used up. From what I’ve seen though, this is supposed to be really good and I’m looking forward to trying it.
- My Little Beauty Lips and Cheeks Crayon – I’ve yet to try this out properly, I’ve only swatched it but it is a gorgeous shade of pink and I think that I’ll probably get quite a lot of use out of it. I really like products like this as they are so easy to apply.
- Kerastase Cristalliste Conditioner – I quite like this and have used it a couple of time. I find that it does leave hair feeling soft and looking really shiney.
I have to say that February’s box was much better; you can read about that here if you like. You always have a little list of the products included and their price and I usually always add them up just out of curiosity however I couldn’t seem to find a price online for the conditioner as the price is for the full size version (this one was 75ml), so I decided that it would be probably just under half so decided on £8.50 for my calculations. So in total this box came to; £56 which I find a little disappointing considering January’s worked out at just over £75 and February at just under £65. I’m not complaining about this in anyway, I mean it is obviously still cheaper (and more fun!) to get the surprise products delivered to your door but I just feel that the one just wasn’t for me.
Have you tried My Little Box? Did you get a March box; if you did I’d love to hear what you thought about it! Like me was it not for you, or did you think that this one was great?
