January Favourites!

Is it just me or does January always feel like it lasts forever? I really can’t wait for spring to come so that it will hopefully be a little warmer and a little less rainy. I thought I’d share some of the products that I’ve been using this month…

Rimmel Kate Moss Gel Eyeliner – I had picked this up on a whim a while ago, I think it was possible on three for two deal at time. I really like a good eyeliner and hadn’t seen this being blogged about so thought I’d give it a wee go. And I’m so glad I did! This applies really well although I used my own eyeliner brush as the one in the box isn’t shaped and I found it difficult to create a nice flick with it. It lasts so well, it doesn’t smudge at all when you’re wearing it. It is also available in black and brown but I feel that the emerald shade is great for a change and think it looks really great with brown eyes.

Physicians Formula Argan Oil Blusher in Natural – This blush has such a gorgeous pattern and looked even prettier when it still had the gold glitter. The pinks all mix together to create a beautiful shade of pink to create a healthy glow. I find that it can look quite bright if you pick up a little too much off the centre shade on your brush so I always try and apply it lightly.

Soap and Glory Hand Food – I think this may be a favourite of all blogger! I always find that my hands need a little bit more care when it come into winter meaning I am never without a hand cream. I find this to be really moisturising as well as drying quickly – I really dislike ones that seem to take forever to dry in. Plus it smells so good!

Illamasqua Velvet Blusher in Peaked – I love this blush that I picked up a while back as it applies like a cream blush but has the look and staying power of a powder blush. It is highly pigmented so a little goes a long way. I find that it creates a really natural look that lasts all day.

No7 Instant Radiance Foundation – I love this foundation as it creates a gorgeous glow and always applies perfectly. It never clings to any dry patches and although it’s a brightening foundation it doesn’t leave you looking shiny. The foundation provides a medium coverage whilst still looking natural and is available in 11 shades so there should be one to suit most skin tones.

L’oreal Color Riche Exclusive Reds Lipstick in Blake’s Red – I picked this up when it first came out and can’t believe that I’ve not talked about it on here. To me this just seems to be the perfect red lipstick, its matte, long lasting and just seems to suit everyone that I’ve seen wearing it. I would really recommend you try this if you haven’t already.
