I picked this up a while back but didn’t really want to review it at first as I have to admit it is a little difficult to get the hang of at first. I have found that less is definitely better in this sense! Once you get the hang of using it is great and is fast becoming one of my favourite lip products at the moment.
The Barry M Loud Mouth Lip Paints are available in 7 shades ranging from pale pink to coral to dark red. The shade featured here is Gossip, a gorgeous bright pink which has a blue base which I love in lip products as it helps teeth appear whiter. I wasn’t sure which shade to go for but eventually settled on this one. The packaging just looks like a regular lip gloss tube but I wouldn’t describe it as being a lip gloss. I found that the best way to apply this was to take a small amount (a little goes a long away!) from the tube and apply with a lip brush.
The result is a super shiny pigmented look. I find that it tends to last around 4 with eating and drinking. It had definitely faded a bit after this point but it had wore off evenly and didn’t look patchy. I find that Gossip is not overly tacky or sticky like lip glosses tend to feel and they are definitely a lot more pigmented than most glosses yet I don’t find that they last as long as lip sticks do.
Barry M LoudMouth Lip colours retail at £3.99 and can be bought from the Barry M online store, Boots or Superdrug.
